Behind the Building is an annual event hosted by Cohere, a creative agency that specializes in adaptive reuse real estate projects and placemaking. We created the event to grant access to the unique projects under construction and hear behind-the-scenes stories from the change makers who are transforming exciting spaces in Philadelphia.
As part of the 2020 DesignPhiladelphia Festival, guests can enjoy a rare opportunity to hear behind the process of modernizing a 19th-century icon, Poth Brewery in Brewerytown.
We'll discuss the opportunities and obstacles surrounding transforming abandoned spaces:
- How to deal with construction issues, tight budgets, and timelines
- How revitalization affects the surrounding neighborhood
- When branding how to maintain the integrity of an iconic building
Don’t miss out on your opportunity to hear the progress on this massive project before it’s completely transformed!
