Zero Waste may seem impossible but behavior change is inevitable after COVID, so why not come out of it smarter, stronger and healthier in your company culture? Join us to explore how we can improve sustainable practices in our workplaces (and beyond) by aiming for the Zero Waste status.
Cohere is aiming for Zero Waste certification in our spaces, and have worked with a number of companies who are working towards the same goal (The Rittenhouse Hotel, Simply Good Jars and more). We have found that waste and sanitation behavior change in the office is a rewarding and interesting journey...so we want to share some tips and the "why" for business and property owners.
On April 22nd at NOON, in celebration of Earth Day, cohosts Antoinette Marie Johnson and Chef Erik Oberholtzer from Cohere will be joined virtually by the Director of Clean PHL Nic Esposito and Jared Cannon, Founder of Simply Good Jars.
The panelists will discuss:
Why less waste is important for a business or property. What it means to be zero waste, debunking some myths about recycling, composting and waste management
How to approach sustainability and make small but mighty change your workplace
What are the incentives for a business to go zero waste? What are the levels of partnership in the program? (There are tax credits for small businesses and of course marketing benefits)
How to deal with employee or customer pushback
