ABOUT ABOUT

WE INVITE YOU TO JOIN - 30-minute virtual session

The #CohereFoodLab has hosted a series of virtual Lunch + Learn events with experts in the unique intersection of design + food + sustainability. It's the chance to meet chefs, farmers, learn cooking techniques and get behind the scenes about projects that are changing the landscape of our food system

This week the #CohereFoodLab will be discussing scaling businesses in organic farming with some dynamic women leaders and allies in food operations who are providing food for chefs in restaurants and our food system

  • An interactive recipe and cooking session with Chef Erik Oberholtzer using the produce in this week's Provisions Box. (Recipe - Spring Nicoise Salad - a famous salad of his!)

  • Special Guests from our Women-led network who will have items in the first box

    • Ashley Walsh, Founder & President of Pocono Organics, the largest regenerative organic farm in North America is growing organic produce and her business.

    • Antoinette Marie, founder of Maidencreek Co., a women-led organic flower company sourcing locally and known for beautiful arrangements with restaurants, hotels, and how they pivoted to consumers.

    • Matt Sherman, CMO of Handsome Brook Farms who is rebuilding the food system starting with pasture-raised organic eggs. Handsome Brook Farms has made an incredible impact on grocery outlets and is an outstanding example of the power of gender balance in agriculture

  • How, when, and where YOU can get a PROVISIONS BOX soon with pre-orders starting after this virtual session to taste specialty products from farmers like this

Join us by signing up and we'll email you the Zoom link. We're thrilled to be collaborating with you all - warning that our sessions typically "sell out" despite being free at around 70 people.
